The residents of this building are now enjoying the accessible adaptation of the community lobby by modifying the elevator stop level to align with the lobby.
The intervention required the partial demolition of the access staircase, redesigning the layout of the first flight of stairs, and creating a gentle ramp to reach the new boarding level. Traditional construction techniques, such as brick vaults, were also restored. Additionally, the exterior area around the entrance was renovated to ensure accessibility from the sidewalk to each apartment.
This project improves the quality of life for residents while taking advantage of the subsidy programs offered by the Generalitat Valenciana and the Ministry of Development.
