ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE ADAPTATION TO THE PLAZA BUILDING, IN THE ALQUERÍA NOVA PARK OF GANDIA

In this community lobby, an accessible route has been created from the public road to the residences, without modifying the building’s elevator. To achieve this, after a thorough study of the building’s structural functionality, the first slab section was demolished, and a new one was executed, supported by the existing beams with specific metal reinforcements.

This intervention has expanded the lobby towards the street, increasing its surface area and creating a system of ramps once inside. However, in this case, the intervention aimed to blend with the building, using materials that were already present in the lobby dating from the 1980s. The new metal elements have been enamelled in black, and a new glazed enclosure has been designed in these same colors.
