Covered sports courts at Abat Solà School in Gandia

The intervention made possible the creation of a covered courtyard in this central school in Gandia. To avoid excavations in a protected environment due to the path of the old city moat, a shallow foundation was executed, which also serves as seating for sports competitions. With overhead lighting through transparent polycarbonate sheets, and the subsequent painting of the concrete floor slab, a comfortable space for children’s sports competitions was created.
